Who am I? | See if my story helps you craft yours.
I've done copywriting, 3D design, web design, video-editing, system process design, online reselling, and so on.
That is made possible through continuous skill-leveling and self-directed projects over the course of four years. An alternative post-grad journey to rediscover the fun I've lost after failing my first business idea.
From there, I've evaluated search engines/AI chatbots, did resells on Poshmark, and started my proudest work yet—Nivationist, a blog that shares my progress in 3D design, digital marketing, and productivity. This blog solidified my pursuit in 3D design/marketing, marking the beginning of the journey's end.
Looking back, each project sharpens my aptitude for identifying user intent, satisfying customer needs, designing cohesive brand identity, and crafting brand-aligned, authentic content that speaks to my audience — or yours.
I can't wait to contribute to a team, a company, and a world bigger than my own.
My Top 4 Attributes | Am I a good fit for your team?
Skills can always be trained, but the right personality and work ethic create a positive work culture for long-term success. Personal attributes are broad and could differ from what you have in mind. Here's my take.
The Imperfect Perfectionist
Perfectionists are a double-edged sword if left to their own devices, which is one reason my first business idea failed. The four-year journey allowed me to focus only on "what matters" and finish projects within the deadline.
Now, I can control my perfectionism by adopting a "let go but never give up" attitude.
Being an imperfect perfectionist translates to dedication, optimization, attention to detail, and, most notably, the other three of my top attributes shown below.
"Done is better than perfect." - Sheryl Sandberg
The Coachable Learner
I have great ideas and a bright mind, considering I've been valedictorian and have a high GPA to get a full scholarship and be invited to the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State.
But it's only a matter of time before ideas, creativity, and smarts run dry unless there is an openness to new knowledge and different perspectives from others.
Being coachable means being humble enough to acknowledge one's weak points and knowing how to learn. Eagerness to learn is driven by optimism, ambition, and the ability to use setbacks to create growth opportunities.
Innovation comes from the voluntary clash between the new and the old.
The Strategic Problem-Solver
Being a problem solver means being able to pick the right problems to solve, analyze data to see through false positives, and prevent/remove roadblocks to maximize impact.
Problem-solving abilities are driven by work accountability and efficient resource utilization.
When amplified and cross-referenced within a team, I believe we can confidently navigate the unknowns of digital transition to be a part of the conquest.
The last thing businesses want is a loss of opportunity due to misdirected efforts.
The Self-Reliant Teammate
Being self-reliant means being adaptable and resourceful by carrying out varying responsibilities with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
Self-reliance comes from flexibility in using current skills and resources in new terrains.
In a team, combining diverse approaches may lead to surprising, out-of-box results amidst constant change.
The growing merge between business and technology requires quick thinking and multi-domain knowledge.
